Corten-Plus™ is offered with a protective clear coat for indoor applications in both fabricated or solid cut designs.
In exterior applications, the accelerated rusty patina will continue to weather and darken naturally with age.

Corten Steel
The great thing about using Corten (A606) is that it is a weathering steel, meaning it is a material that is corrosion resistant and left uncoated, will develop an outer layer patina protecting it from almost any weather element. Corten will develop a stable rust-like appearance after several years of exposure to weather. You can always choose Corten-Plus™ to get that weathered, rusty look right away! Protective coatings are not recommended.
